As so often, I let myself be carried away by my emotions, and on the large empty canvas, without any intention, Caribbean rock formations appeared. “The Reef” was created during the strict lockdown of the pandemic – a situation we all know only too well. My (sub)consciousness was clearly longing for the sea, for vacation, relaxation, a break from the lockdown.
“The Reef” invites you to dream – of Caribbean feelings, of lightness, of finally letting your soul breathe again and forgetting the world around you, if only for a moment.
