WOUNDED BEAUTY VI Keep A Breast Europe

This bust was created as part of a unique collaboration with the international organization Keep A Breast Europe (keepabreast.fr). It is now part of their art collection and will be showcased at exhibitions, events, and campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of breast cancer prevention.
I had the great honor of creating this bust for Fanny Rieger, the founder and director of Keep A Breast Europe – a commission that deeply moved me both personally and artistically. An unforgettable highlight was completing the piece during the snowboard event “The Uninvited Euro Open” – a women-only contest – right on the slopes of the Penken in Mayrhofen. This extraordinary setting amplified the energy and symbolic power of the project.
The design of the bust is embedded in my art series “Wounded Beauty.” This series is a tribute to the enduring beauty that exists within each of us – regardless of the marks life has left behind. Every piece tells a story of overcoming, resilience, and inner strength.
With Wounded Beauty, I aim to reveal how vulnerability can transform into new strength. The structures and resin I use not only illuminate inner wounds but also turn them into something radiant and unique – a symbol of the truth that real beauty lies in depth and authenticity, shining through our scars.
